We are a community united by a passion for sharing the joy of flight with one another. Whether you’re a first-time tandem jumper or a seasoned skydiver, we take our role of providing life-affirming experiences very seriously.
Our owner, Aaron Oehrle-Steele, unearthed his passion for skydiving as an 18-year-old – a true baby bird! Too often, dropzones get bogged down in the nitty-gritty of running a business. At Skydive California, our zeal for skydiving and eagerness to share it with the world supersedes most everything, aside from safety, of course.
Bold and brimming with energy, Skydive California stormed the NorCal skydiving scene in 2015. We put safety at #1 and added a fresh burst of vitality into the air. In just two years, we won Honorable Mention for Best Dropzone 2017 (medium-sized) and Aaron was named Best Dropzone Operator (DZO) 2017 by Blue Skies Magazine.

We’re passionate about fostering the next generation of jumpers. We offer solo instruction through our AFF Program – the most comprehensive teaching method in the world. We’re thrilled people can do their first-ever tandem skydive with us and then come back to learn to jump solo.

Thanks to the sweet California sunshine, there are several skydiving options in our state. However, not all dropzones (or all Cali skies) are created equal.
Whether you’re a local native or visiting San Francisco, skydiving has never been easier. We’re located just over an hour from the hustle and bustle of the city, which means we aren’t challenged by the almost-daily marine layer. We give you that skydive Bay Area experience without the weather delays that come with skydiving San Francisco.

The Skydive California safety record is untarnished and we intend to keep it that way. We are committed to only engaging USPA-certified and highly experienced instructors – our staff has a combined 100,000+ jumps. We utilize top-quality skydiving equipment and maintain our aircraft, runway, and facilities to the highest degree.
